Corporate Espionage

Francis frantically dug around the desk of his corporate rival, Mike O'Neal, the CEO of a rival insurance firm of Francis'. Francis wanted to find any dirt on his rival company to give him a competitive edge. His trusted lawyer, Hannah, had stumbled onto an ancient artifact set of rings that allowed anyone to possess the wearer of one of them, as long as the other one wore the counter part. It was a shot in the dark, but Francis was a collector of ancient artifacts so even if it didn't work it wasn't an all out lose.

The two had the posessee ring shipped to Mike's office as a "gift" from an anonymous shareholder of the company. Unfortunately for Francis, once the rings power was activated he found himself not in Mike's desk, but the desk of secretary: Tabatha. Turns out Tabatha checked all of Mike's mail, and decided to try on the ring herself before passing it on to her boss. Given that the effects only worked for an hour, Francis had no right to complain, after all he was close enough to Mike's office. According to Tabatha's calendar Mike was in a meeting for the next hour, and afterwards he had a private appointment with her. Perfect! Francis thought.

The CEO stumbled into his rival's office on his heels. He took the heels off and closed the door behind him, and got to work. He dug all around looking for secret folders, logged into the computer for anything incriminating. He began sending everything he could find into a proxy email he set up. He could look at it later back in his body.

The door behind Francis creaked open. In the frame stood the tall slender figure of his very own rival. "Can I help you with anything Tabatha?" Mike asked.

"No, everything's fine," Francis said. "I'm just cleaning your desk. I thought you were in a meeting."

"How sweet of you, Tabby. The meeting ended earlier than scheduled. Which means our private appointment can start ahead of schedule," Mike closed the door behind him. Francis gulped, he wasn't liking where this was going.
